3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing
3D Printing has become increasingly popular in recent years as an easy, cost effective solution to create real parts from 3D CAD data. 3D Printing is a term used to describe additive manufacturing technologies such as PolyJet, Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) and Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). These manufacturing technologies produce parts by “printing” layer upon layer of material until a 3D form is created.
HP Multi Jet Fusion
HP Multi Jet Fusion technology utilizes a high precision 3D printing process. In 3D design and printing, a voxel represents a value on a regular grid in a three-dimensional space. By controlling the properties of each individual voxel through agents, HP Multi Jet Fusion can produce parts that can’t be made by other methods.
Arcam EBM
Arcam EBM is an additive manufacturing technology that produces metal prototype and production parts in a matter of hours. DMLS utilizes a variety of metal and alloy materials to create strong durable parts from 3D CAD data without the need of tooling. Metal parts built with this technology have the design versatility of layer additive manufacturing while possessing the mechanical properties and appearance of metal materials.
Stereolithography
Stereolithography (SLA) provides accurate concept models, master patterns and investment casting patterns in record time. Along with PolyJet, SLA is among the most accurate and precise rapid prototyping technologies available. Complete in-house finishing capabilites for production-like prototypes ensures that your models and patterns are delivered on time and ready for immediate application.
QuickCast (Investment Casting)
QuickCast™ Investment Casting Patterns are accurate, consistent, strong, fully drained and completely sealed patterns that are 10 to 35% lighter than those built with other polymers and ordinary build styles.
Selective Laser Sintering
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS®) is an additive rapid manufacturing process that builds three dimensional parts by using a laser to selectively sinter (heat and fuse) a powdered material. The process begins with a 3D CAD file which is mathematically sliced into 2D cross-sections. The SLS prototype or part is built a layer at a time until completed.
FDM
FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) is a layer additive manufacturing process that uses production-grade thermoplastic materials to produce both prototype and end-use parts. 3DIG offers a number of thermoplastic FDM materials that can be used for direct digital manufacturing including ABS, PC-ISO polycarbonate and Ultem-9085 for high-temperature applications.
Subtractive & Conventional Manufacturing
Urethane Casting
Fortune 100 manufacturing companies turn to 3D Integrations Group’s Cast Urethane expertise for their time-critical product releases. Developments in advance formula polymers (AFP’s), fiber-reinforced castings and molding methods enable customers to quickly manufacture durable short-run production components and the highest quality prototypes with the technology and materials suitable for their project.
CNC
Whether you need a highly accurate machined prototype for a functional test, a large prototype for a customer presentation, or a short-run of finished pats, 3D Integration Group has the expertise, hands-on experience, and capacity to get the job done.
Injection Molding
3D Integration Group’s injection molding services pair perfectly with our hard tooling solutions. Working with our partner companies scattered throughout the US, 3DIG brings you the best of both worlds by providing domestic shipping prices combined with 3DIG’s project management team. Once your hard tooling is complete, you can rest easy knowing that our injection molding services will get your production parts to market quickly.
Tooling & Fixtures
Our Tooling will be specifically built to meet all of your requirements to assure your product’s success, whether your application be pre-production prototype tooling or production tooling. With over 100 years combined experience in all phases of tooling, our Tooling and Molding team has the expertise to analyze your production requirements and determine what type of tool is appropriate for your production run and resulting parts.
Sheet Metal
Sheet metal stamping/pressing has been around for more than 100 years. It’s the process of feeding flat (blanks) or coiled metal into a press fitted with a tool and die surface where the metal is then pressed into and through the blanks to create a net-shape part.
Other Services
Consulting
We provide solutions, training, and implement action items during the production phase of your product development process. Our expert engineers can contribute to the success of the production phase of a project by establishing the necessary infrastructure for manufacturing.
Painting & Finishing Services
Often, the difference between a good prototype and a great prototype is the finishing. Backed by years of model making experience, our finishing experts can add custom treatments like texture, paint, and hardware to make your prototype virtually indistinguishable from a production part.
